Resources in the Hiding Place cannot be plundered by enemies. The bigger it is, the more it can hold; however, there is no place to hide troops. Even scouts cannot spot resources in the Hiding Place.

Notes
- The Hiding Place comes as standard in every village. Its purpose is to help prevent enemies from raiding resources. When a village is attacked, resources are stored in the Hiding Place, and those cannot be farmed.
- The Hiding Place is an efficient way to prevent villages being plundered early on in the game. This is obviously even more helpful when a player is surrounded by significantly strong players in the beginning. With a sufficiently developed Hiding Place, large amounts of resources can be hidden, minimizing the amount plundered.
- However, later on in the game the Hiding Place ceases to be of importance, because at its maximum level it can hold only 2,000 units of every resource, whereas maximum-level resource buildings gather 2,400 units (at speed=1) per hour. Therefore, players have to rely on their military to protect their resources.
- Offers on the market are not protected by the hiding place; they are fair game, like anything else.
