This is caused often due to the server being under too much load. It is also caused by backups. World 10 is affected most of all due to its fast pace and large number of users.
User side options
If you experience this problem you have a few options that include the following
- Refresh your browser
- Clear your cache and retry the page - it may have been resolved and your provider has cached the error page.
- Try another world/page?
Server side options?
The community hopes that these errors become less frequent. This could be accomplished by one of the following
- Clustering
- Failover
- Fixing the problems
- Paying people more - seems to fix all problems right. Doesn't money fix everything. (HAHAHAH in an evil sort of way)
Reality
However, issues with servers is common with ALL large websites and it takes expensive upgrades and a very active administration to stay ontop of the web traffic, adjusting bandwidth accordingly.
There really is nothing users can do on their end to solve this problem and the best thing to do is to leave the page and try back later.
