Talk:Guide to Rushing Light Calvary
From TribalWarsWiki
This guide is a fairly slow way to rush Light Cavalry.
Your strategy should depend on the number of barbs available, whether barbs grow (and how fast they grow), whether you had a late start, and the proximity of you to your tribe and/or large tribes and/or premade tribes. Other factors include whether morale is active, the length of beginner protection, whether paladin is active, troop speed vs world speed and any special world-specific features that may arise.
You shouldn't try to design your strategy without knowing the world settings.
You shouldn't know for sure what you're doing until you've started and have analyzed your surroundings (some players analyze as far as 40x40 [Nauz]).
Most decent startup strategies rush to LC, in one way or another.
They also ensure that you're able to build a decent amount of LC fairly quickly after researching LC.
Here is a basic, startup guide (which includes an LC rush), written by Purple Predator. It should only be followed as long as necessary for a player pick up on the fundamental game knowledge (preferably players are taught by an experienced, intelligent mentor; one that doesn't follow guides). That is, it was intended to give to newbies so they could get started whilst they were being taught how to examine their own surroundings and think for themselves.
It's intended for archer/paladin worlds (worlds without paladin should be approached with slightly different starting strategies).

In my opinion, this whole article needs to be re-worked, in order to guide the viewers towards being more reactive to their surroundings than reliant on a specific build order.
