Offensive

An Offensive village builds only Axemen, Light Cavalry, Mounted Archers (if available), Rams, and Catapults. You should have more Offensive villages than Defensive, but less than Scout Centers.

Defensive

A Defensive village builds only Spearmen, Swordsmen, Catapults, and Archers (if available). Heavy Cavalry are not necessary to a defense but have a good general defense and can be trained to decrease the total time needed to create a full farm defense village (handy during wartime). A widely accepted ratio of Defensive to Offensive villages is 3:1. Kjhf 20:48, 31 July 2009 (UTC)

All discussion of strategy and tactics should be removed from this page. This page should be solely an informative page concerning what a village is, and perhaps the different types of villages. Any opinions on ratios, the "proper" way to build up a village, etc should be removed to a strategy and tactics or a guide. Usti Wahya 2 August 2009
