Trip wire

Tripwires

The idea behind a "tripwire" is by having a support troop within an allies village if they are attacked you are forwarded a short report on the attack automatically. This way, you will be informed when your friend is attacked instantly, rather than having to wait until they're online.

note: You are not able to see an incoming attack, the report will only be sent after the enemies have attacked.

Setup

Setting up a 'tripwire' with a tribemate is simple, all you need to do is send a single or a few troops as Support to their village. Sending 10 Spear Fighters is recommended. This way, by seeing how many die, you can judge the severity of the attack. I.e., if 5 die, 50-60% of their troops were kiled, if 7 were killed, 70-80% of their troops were killed.

Any troop works, however a Spear Fighters are recommended because they are very cheap, and moderately fast.

Usage

Allies

Now, although you get a report of the attack this report only covers your own troops. This does mean however you can send a short mail to the person whose wire was tripped to ask if extra support is needed and about the situation.

If your troops were attacked in the village, when checking Reports you can see a short report was forwarded. With this you can also forward the actual battle report to that person or people so they can see the situation.
