Revisions to the Save/Preview Buttons

Im just curious what you think of the modifications made to the save page button, instead of just being able to click save you now must preview. This is one measure im trialing to prevent bots and vandals from attacking the wiki, a vandal will not want to sit and wait for pages to load and will get bored after 1-2 :) Bots cannot handle breaks in code, and will not expect the save button to be unavaliable so will just crash. It might be annoying, i find it alright, but what do you think? Thanks! --OscardogTalk.::.Admin

Hints from Ocbaker

Hello AO,

I am going to try to help you get adminship but you have to listen.

When you are applying for adminship the best vote that you can get is the vote of an admin. Their is no greater respect of vote than the vote of an admin.

You need to appologize to the wiki staff
Because these are the people that make the final decision of your adminship.
The first person that you need to appologize to is Demon. Calling a sysop a 'GIT' is NOT THE WAY TO GO. no matter what you do the sysop will ALWAY come out the victor.
The second person that you need to appologize to is oscardog. Oscardog is the HEAD ADMIN, Oscardog has the ultimate ruling of the decision of your promotion. You need to appologize to oscardog for the behaviour on the wiki.

TEMPLATES AND PAGES.

Don't use so many. The more you use the more space it takes up and the longer it takes for the poor admins to sort through the wiki. You will respect this decision later if you become a sysop. If you followed what the sysops say to the letter then you have a higher chance of gaining their vote than if you oppose them at every turn.
When you are making templates it is fine but you don't need a template for everything and you only really need one template per reason for using the template at the maximum 2 templates. You should only really have a maximum of 2 templates displayed on your personal page at any one time. Any more than that and you should display the template code within your page to decrease the amount of pages that you use.

ANY THING THAT YOU AREN'T USING YOU MUST DELETE OR MARK FOR DELETION.

This way if you are going to use alot of pages you can at least help the admins out by marking them for deletion and telling them that you have done so.

This is all I can tell you for now but I'll update this later.

P.S: I would really REALLY take this in and use it to your advantage as it is coming straight out of the mouth of an EX-Sysop.

Yours,

Sorry?

Umm i thought the rules i set were you apologise, then you will be allowed to come back. So apogise and admit you were wrong, no argueing and no sarcastic comments and you will be allowed to stay, otherwise it will be a perm. ban. And one more comment on the forum like the last one, and you will definately be perm. banned. Plus please do not make excessive amounts of templates, as we have enough. --OscardogTalk.::.Head Admin
