Building Pages

Hey, I'm not sure if this is the way to contact people but here goes.

Why do you keep reverting changes made to Iron mine (http://wiki.tribalwars.net/index.php?title=Iron_mine&oldid=37384) by Cheesasaurus, His format makes it more clearer and makes the page look a lot better. Thanks Hifas

The wiki admin team agreed that the buildings pages should not contain information that is dependent upon world speed and/or HQ level.

The pieces of information removed include building speed (dependent upon both HQ level and world speed) and resources generated (dependent upon world speed). As not all players will have the same HQ levels, and not all worlds have the same world speed, this information would be inaccurate at any given time.

"Time factor: 120.00 seconds" - this is dependent on world speed. As you have decided this information should not be included, I think an effort should be made to remove it.

Though default build times are, indeed, constant for every server. I will argue that the default times should be included on the page. -Cheesasaurus 07:40, 28 October 2009 (UTC)

Hello

First, congratulations on the Admin-rank. Its good to see there are still active Wiki staff. Our team was discouraged when we were repeatedly declined FTP access and thus couldn't make the expansions necessary to liven up the place.

If you didn't know, I am Demon of an older staff. I was last active around, I believe, 6 months ago. I have since become fairly involved in my academics and my classes have taken the majority of my on-time away.

So, your new team has decided to make a Tribe category? Who is going to run back and add this category to the existing pages? Also, has your team managed to create a Wiki bot? Our team was attempting to, but we lacked experience in that area, thus it was never implemented at all.

Replies on my Talk page, if any, would be appreciated. Demon (Talk .:| SysOp |:. Happy-Wiki) 23:02, 28 August 2009 (UTC)

Oh wow, nvm about the question. I wasn't aware we had categories worked in to the system already. I personally don't remember much of my active editting days, because I was always active on atleast 3 wikis. Sorry for the .. waste of space? haha. - Demon (Talk .:| SysOp |:. The new system

Ah, fair enough. Thank you on the update, i'll try to transition anything I notice to be 'old' into your new style. It has been awhile since i've been on the Wiki, but I believe I may have time between my class scheduling to aid occasionally as my access permits. Happy to still retain my SysOp access. :P - Demon (Talk .:| SysOp |:. Happy-Wiki) 01:36, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
