What is the TW-Wiki?
This Wiki is, simply put, an information database of compiled data for the browser-based game, Tribal Wars. It consists of information on everything concerning Tribal Wars, from Building Information to Unit Information along with an extensive collection of Tribal Profiles developed and mostly maintained by the tribe's members or leader. The Wiki as a whole is managed by a dedicated team of Sysops and Admins, a list of which can be found at the Main Page or here. Any questions concerning the Wiki, Abuse, Vandalisation, Blackmail, Flaming, etc., should be reported to these individuals through their talk page, found by clicking the Discussion tab on their user page.
It should be noted we have no control over in-game matters and should not be contacted about any of the fore mentioned, disputes, or anything taking place in-game. For said matters you should contact a TribalWars Team member from the Tribal Wars homepage.

Why should I contribute?
This Wiki is rapidly evolving thanks to a large number of registered users. You too could make an impact on this Wiki, simply by going to the sign up page and creating a personal account where each of your contributions will be recorded. There are many advantages to creating an account, here are just a few:
- Custom made signature for around the entire Wiki
- Custom User page made solely for you
- Credited directly to you - in such cases as an IP change, credit can be lost
- Earn the respect of the Wiki Team, thus the possibility of becoming another dedicated member of the Wiki team!
Although signing up is entirely optional, it is strongly advised as we know who you are and can address you directly. If you decide to create an account, and we hope you do, as soon as you've created just one edit you have made an impact on the Wiki. The more edits you make, the larger impact you make and the more respect you will earn. IP addresses often are confused with Vandalisers and auto-bots crashing the Wiki's information database, thus we have much less tolerance for IP edits. Having a registered account allows you a fair chance against mistakes made while editing.
Along with the above, more information concerning the benefits to registering can be found here.

Simple information to get started
Becoming a seasoned editor often takes time and experience, but for the TW-Wiki, its as simple as hitting the edit button and knowing what you're going to write about. However, for those who have never edited an article before, we have many tools to help you towards your first edit. Depending on your level of expertise, you may or may not find these tools helpful, but because they're used throughout the Wiki, we've compiled a list of them found in the following links:
Editing can be very complex, depending on what you decide to do with your article, and many methods of completion can be found around the Wiki as many different people incorporate their area of expertise into the page, making it uniquely theirs. A few pages have been created in hopes of leading you to your first page, introducing the types of pages found in the Wiki and what you should focus on;
For Tribal pages:

Active Projects
To help get you started you can join some of the projects currently running on the wiki. These projects are run by members of the wiki, each project has a purpose and each project has different goals that they are trying to achieve. Here are just a few projects:
- Tribeopedia - The Tribeopedia is a large collection of Tribe profiles made by the leader or members of those tribes. The pages mainly consist of Tribal Templates as it sums up the tribe in a small table, and allows space for the tribe's logo. Anyone can make a tribe page, although it is preferred it be a current/past member of the tribe, and should then request it to be added to the compilation by going here and following the directions. It will then be added to the table of tribes, categorized by world and listed in alphabetical order.
- Happy-Wiki - This project was made by the TW-Wiki community as a whole, a team of Wiki users working together to edit the Wiki overall. The goal of this project is to unite the users and keep everything on the Wiki looking up to standard protocol and to keep the information shown on each page up-to-date. In addition to continually updating information and appearances, members are asked to visit tribal pages and various articles to edit grammar and formats, developing the page's appearance. New members are always welcome regardless of experience, simply follow the link and add your name to the list!
