Main Guide
(Note: this guide is made for world 38. you can still use it if you are on a different world, just dont expect it to work perfectly)
Step 1:
Getting started
Start with upgrading recource structures and Village Headquarters to make upgrading faster and work towards a barracks.
Village Headquarters (5) (the number represents the upgrade level you should for buildings)
Timber Camp (11)
Clay Pit (11)
Iron Mine (9)
Then upgrade your warehouse to store the faster recources.
Warehouse (6)
Time to build your Barracks and create some troops.
Barracks (2)
Spear Fighters (100) (1) (for troops the first number shows how many you should have and the second shows their research lv.)
With your Spear Fighters attack any villages (-200 pts.) in your area. Barbarian villages and Bonus villages come first. Send at least 20 Spear Fighters each time. Don't attack a village to many times in a row as each one needs time to get more recources. With the recources you steal build more Spear fighters. Upgrade Barracks to recruit faster and build Wall.
Spear Fighters (300) (1)
Barracks (5)
Wall (3)
You now have a basic village that plunders recources and is capable of defending itself from raids from the other small villages around you.
Step 2:
Higher defence and faster recources.
You need faster recources for this next step so upgrade them. You will also need to store the faster recouces as well, so also upgrade your warehouse.
Timber Camp (15)
Clay Pit (15)
Iron Mine (12)
Warehouse (11)
Upgrade Village Headquartes to make this faster, then build a smithy, research Swordsman and recruit some.
Smithy (1)
Swordsman (100) (1)
That farm might need upgrading. Also, research higher levels of troops.
Farm (12)
Spear Fighters (300) (3)
Swordsman (100) (3)
Upgrade the wall.
Wall (5)
Remember to keep your Spear Fighters constantly moving. Start sending 30 in a group instead of 20 and continue to only attack villages in your area with below 200 pts. Keep your Swordsman at home though.
Your defence is at its next level and you have plenty of farm space
Step 3:
Even faster recouces
First upgrade the warehouse, then the recource structures. Also the Village Headquarters
Warehouse (13)
Timber Camp (18)
Clay Pit (18)
Iron Mine (16)
Village Headquarters (10)
Don't think this step is just about recources. Build a Stable and some scouts.
Stable (3)
Scouts (20) (1)
Now upgrade your Spear Fighters and Swordsman.
Spear Fighters (300) (3)
Swordsman (100) (3)
Now you have fast recources and more room in the warehouse
Step 4
An army need to be considered
Build more Swordsman and Spear Fighters
Spear Fighters (600) (3)
Swordsman (600) (3)
Barracks (15)
Now upgrade a lot of things
Spear Fighters (600) (5)
Swordsman (600) (5)
Wall (15)
Village Headquarters (17)
Stable (10)
Smithy (13)
Farm (25)
Now is time to make more troops
Scouts (150) (1)
Light Cavalry (300) (5)
Archer (100) (5)
Keep Spearfighters raiding, now with at least 50 in a group. Start raiding with your new Light Cavalry to. Include at least 30 Light Cavaly in a group. So groups of 50 Spear Fighters and more groups of 30 Light Cavalry.
Keep raiding other villages and defending yourself
Extra Stuff
Tips:
1. Wood, Clay and Iron are the resources needed to build your village in Tribalwars. It is important to upgrade the Timber Camp, Clay pit and Iron mine (perhaps not the Iron mine) lots from the beginning but not to forget about your other buildings. Remember to keep your troops constantly moving to steal as much extra resouces as possible.
2. NEVER bother upgrading your Hiding Place as it is hardly useful and it dosn't hide much recources at all. You should use up your resources and Farm space on better things.
3. Your Warehouse needs to be upgraded a bit at the start, but level 25 is the finish line. You won't need to store much resources at a time as you should always be using them up to build things. Only stockpile when your building up to something big like a Nobleman.
4. Try to upgrade units in the Smithy a lot. It takes up no Farm space and gives you a decent bonus.
5. If you're attacking someone with your Paladin, take the time to equip him with the most beneficial weapon depending on what other units you're using to attack with.
