Historical changes in Gameplay

Some worlds you may not see on the TribalWars login page, because these are starting to close up due to maximum residences.

Every world is slightly different from the others on opening day. Such differences could be:

  • The speed might be different. (1-3)
  • The way to purchase nobles. (Coins/Store)
  • The available troops might vary. (Paladin,Archer,Mounted Archer)
  • The tribe member limit may be different. (60/80/100/500)

However, there are some features of the game that change only after the world has begun.

Changes due to administrative actions or programmer updates include:

  • Change from Academy packets to packages (Roshambo Worlds)
  • Change attacking troops to disappear if source village is ennabled (All Worlds)

Roshambo Worlds

Units: Spear fighter, Swordsman, Axeman, Scout, Light cavalry, Heavy cavalry, Ram, Catapult, Nobleman

Glorified version of "Rock, Paper, Scissors" game. The first offering on English-language Tribal Wars servers from InnoGames.

Distinguishing features:

  • No "New" units
  • No auto-building of uninhabited villages
  • No bonus villages

Pally Worlds

Additional Units: Archer, Mounted archer, Paladin

The addition of a Paladin unit, and a new battle resolution system to the game.

Distinguishing features:

  • No Paladin weapons
  • No auto-building of uninhabited villages
  • No bonus villages

Ghost Worlds

Additional Units: Archer, Mounted archer, Paladin (w/ weapons)

Mixing up the old dynamic of many thousand 26-point villages that do not grow. Now these uninhabited villages will queue building levels automatically, regardless of resource levels.

Speed Worlds

Units: (Varies)

Set at a server speed tens or hundreds of times faster than ordinary worlds, Speed Worlds provide players a challenging round of Tribal Wars with a definite beginning and ending. World settings are subject to change between rounds.
