Village points

The points of a village are based on the buildings in that village and their level. If a building is upgraded, the score of the village will increase by a certain amount, depending on the buildings level and type. Demolishing buildings or them being destroyed decreases a village's score.

Player points

The points of a player is the total score of all his villages together. That is, it depends on the levels of all buildings in all his villages. If a player has 1 village, that village's score is that player's score.

Tribe points

The points of a tribe is the total score of all tribemembers. That means it depends on all buildings in all villages of all players in the tribe. There is also a score listed for the 40 top players, which obviously is the total score of the 40 players with highest score.

Map appearance

A village looks different on the map depending on the amount of points.

Increasing score

A town's score may be increased by upgrading or constructing buildings in that town. A player's score may be increased by upgrading buildings in (one of his) towns, or by taking more towns. A tribe's score in increased when a member upgrades a building, takes a village or when the tribe invites a new member.

Score table

There is a table showing the score for all buildings and their levels in the help at this link

There is a score for that level for if you want to see how much your score will increase when you build something, and there is a total score for calculating how many points a building at a certain level contributes to your total score.

Morale

If a player with high score attacks a player with a low score, a morale penalty is applied on most worlds. This penalty ranges between 30% (great score difference) and 100% (no score difference or defender has more points). The morale percentage is the percentage with which attacking troops will be fighting, so a morale of 30% puts the attacker at a serious disadvantage.

Troops

Troops do not influence points in any way (except indirectly by taking towns). It can not be seen from a player's score whether he has a big or small army. It is therefore possible for a player with 2000 points to defeat one with 6000 points. Therefore, do not rely on score alone to judge whether or not you can defeat someone.
